The Village Access Report.
A 30-day diagnostic that maps where your organization stands in relation to the people, partners, and dollars already in your reach — and a 90-day playbook for what to do next.
Duration
30 days
Investment
From $4,800
Delivered as
Bound report + debrief
The work is already adjacent to its answer.
The hardest part of running a mission-driven organization isn't the lack of resources. It's the lack of visibility into the resources already orbiting your work.
Funders you've never met but whose portfolio mirrors yours. Coalitions where your name should already be in the room. Partners whose programs end exactly where yours begins.
The Village Access Report is the map. We do the listening, the research, and the analytical work so you walk away with a clear picture of the village around you — and the exact moves to activate it.
Four phases. Thirty days.
A disciplined process — but a deeply human one. Every phase culminates in an artifact you keep.
- 01
Listen
Working sessions with leadership and key staff. We learn the mission as you tell it, the work as you live it, and the constraints you carry quietly.
Week 1
- 02
Map
A landscape audit of funders, partners, peer organizations, and coalitions adjacent to your mission. We surface what is already proximate.
Week 2
- 03
Match
We translate the landscape into a relationship matrix — who, why, in what order, with what specific opening. Prioritized. Sequenced. Specific.
Week 3
- 04
Hand off
Bound report, leadership debrief, and a 90-day outreach playbook your team can run with. Plus a 30-day check-in to keep the work moving.
Week 4
A real deliverable. Not a slide deck dressed up as one.
A bound, designed Report
A 30–50 page document built for circulation — to your board, your team, your champions. Not a working file. An artifact.
Relationship matrix
A working spreadsheet of every priority funder, partner, and coalition with notes on the opening, the warm path, and the order of outreach.
90-day outreach playbook
Email templates, pitch language, and a week-by-week sequence your team can execute without us.
Leadership debrief
A 90-minute working session where we walk leadership through the findings and recommendations together.
30-day check-in
One follow-up working call thirty days after handoff. We review what moved, what stuck, and what comes next.
Talking points kit
Pre-written language for the first three conversations the Report opens up — funder, partner, and press.
The Report is built for organizations that…
If two or more of these resonate, we should talk.
- ✓Have a clear mission but a foggy roadmap for resourcing it
- ✓Know the right partners exist but don’t know how to reach them
- ✓Are about to enter a campaign, capital raise, or growth season
- ✓Have a board asking sharper questions than the team can currently answer
- ✓Are a coalition trying to act with collective weight
- ✓Want a real strategic artifact — not another deck
Honest answers.
- How is this different from a fundraising consultant?
- Fundraising consultants run the asks. We map the universe of relationships your organization should be cultivating in the first place — funding included, but not only funding. The Report is the strategic precursor; an external fundraiser is one of several ways you might choose to execute on it.
- Do you work with brand-new organizations?
- Yes — with a caveat. The Report works best when there is at least a defined mission, a named leader, and twelve months of work to look back on. If you’re earlier than that, a strategy intensive may be a better starting point.
- How much time does it take from our team?
- About six hours of live time across the 30 days — typically a kickoff, two working sessions, the debrief, and the 30-day check-in. We do the heavy analytical lift between sessions.
- Is there a sliding scale?
- For small organizations and coalitions, yes. We always start with a conversation about the work and the funding context before naming a final number. Reach out and we’ll be honest about what fits.
- Can we hire you to execute the playbook?
- Sometimes. After a Report wraps, some clients move into a Partnership retainer to keep us close. Many run the playbook with their own team — which is exactly the goal.
The next cohort opens by invitation.
We take on a limited number of Village Access Reports each quarter to protect the depth of the work. Reach out to discuss timing and fit.
Most engagements begin with a 30-minute fit conversation. No pitch. No pressure.
